Providing the Bertani Award

During the meeting of the National Congress of the Italian Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, held in Milan from 16 to 19 September 2015, it was awarded the prize Bertani. At the end of the comparative assessments,  the jury has identified, as the best project, the one presented by Dr. Francesca Toia, Palermo: “Stem cells from fat tissue. Isolation, characterization and differentiation in vitro.” The project was awarded for methodological innovation on the use of adipose tissue in regenerative plastic surgery. Dr. Toia accepted the award, consisting of a diploma from SICPRE and a scholarship allocated by the Bertani’s family.
