Lipostructure for breast reconstruction by implants has become an ancillary technique for the Plastic Surgeon. The regenerative properties of adipose tissue, especially related to mesenchymal stem cells contained in it, are now the subject of several studies.
Among the international literature, there are numerous testimonies of improved aesthetic and reconstructive results in patients treated by breast reconstruction, prosthetic therapy and radiotherapy after interventions of lipostructure.
Therefore, it is accepted the important role of lipofilling in the prevention and treatment of the most common complications that may occur by using the implants, such as the capsular contracture, the wrinkling of the prosthesis and implant exposure.
