The neuromas from amputation are painful pathological conditions, which usually develop after trauma of the limbs, starting from simple cuts in the kitchen.
In some cases, the damaged nerve, at the level of the interruption site, starts an aberrant healing process that induces a painful symptomatology, both of spontaneous type and the compression or the use of the affected limb. Among the different treatments proposed a recently promising technique, which has already given good results, consists of neuroma excision and creation of an autologous adipose graft wrapped around the proximal nerve stump.3
